Routes

For this year, there are 3 different routes. They differ from one another in length and change in elevations. All 3 routes begin in the same place at the same time. Look at a more detailed description of each route:

2 Cumbres

The race begins in the Piuquenes lagoon, 3.560m, where you will also find the Basecamp of the event. The trajectory of 2 Cumbres will begin with the summit of Cerro Falsa Parva (3.790 m), continuing through to summit La Parva (3.970m), to later descended in direction to Cerro Pintor, where one later descends through the transverse which joins both mountains. The middle point is where one goes the through the shoulder that appears on the right of the transverse towards PC3. Once reached that point one splices through the route, which goes in direction to the reservoir 3 Puntas, to finally finish off in direction towards the finish line located in Basecamp (3.560 m.). The entire route covers a distance of 7,5 kilometers.

The start is located in laguna de Piuquenes at 3560 m . where you will also find the Basecamp of the event. The race covers three summits, the first is the Summit Cerro Falsa Parva (3.790 m.), following the summit Cerro La Parva (3.970 m.) finished of by the summit of Cerro Pintor (4.200 m.). The route continues in the direction of Cancha de Carrera, which goes into the edge that goes in direction to the Leonera (4.370 m.). In this sector you will find a trail that descends into the Refugio Federacion (4.100 m.) and that continues descending into Piedra Numerada (3.394 m.) to later finish of in the direction of the Basecamp (3.560m.) where the finish line is. The route covers a distance of 20 kilometers.

The Start will take place in the laguna de Piuquenes at 3.560 m. where you will also be able to find the Basecamp of the event. The route cover 4 summits starting with the summit of Cerro Falsa Parva (3.790 m.), following the summit Cerro La Parva (3.970 m.) to which follows the summit at Cerro Pintor (4.200m.) and finishing off with the summit at Cerro Leonera (4.954 m.). The return begins with one descending through the trail, which borders the glacier that then drops directly into Piedra Numerada (3.394 m.). One does not pass through Refugio Federacion (4.100m.) and then directly heads back to Basecamp (3.560 m.) where the finish is, covering a distance of 30 kilometers.
